Children are often more relaxed in the familiar surroundings of their own home. This enables them to build the confidence needed to ask questions and explore new concepts. By getting to know their individual strengths and weaknesses, I am able to help students enjoy learning mathematics and make progress.
My wealth of experience teaching mathematics in primary and secondary schools has provided me with curriculum knowledge and teaching methods which link to your child’s learning in school, whether they are just starting out in key stage one or preparing for GCSE exams in year 11.

“Helen worked with our daughter, Jessica, to get her from grade C level to get an A in her English GCSE. Jessica felt that Helen increased her confidence with expression and grammar and was always available for support either face to face or by email.”
